«I love minigolf»
Playing Minigolf requires passion, and also irony. Organized by the agency Eo Ipso, the promotional campaign has the goal of drawing attention to the 2007 Minigolf World Championships in Italy

“I love minigolf” is the first slogan which will begin the promotional campaign at the BIT for the upcoming world championships, which will take place in Italy this August following the Nations Cup in May. The proclamation will be associated with diverse personalities outside the “normal” standards of society. The series will start off with an American motorcyclist, a British punk and an old Indian farmer, all of which will be distributed at the Borsa Internazione del Turism (the international tourism expo) and be followed with distribution in bars and other places where the young
gather. The objective of this first launch of the campaign is to help make evident the fact that minigolf is a sport for everybody; a unique sport that can be played alone, with family or with friends. Dynamic, fun, wholesome and affordable, in Italy minigolf already has a following, only last year around 150 thousand people played the game.
«We have put forward a strongly creative and carefully mapped out promotional campaign which visualizes reaching the youth in their gathering places – explains Marino Pessina, president of Eo Ipso, which was chosen as the organization, press
agency and public relations society for presenting the next world championships of minigolf. – A campaign which is about groundbreaking fun and acts as a point in redefining the confines of sport entertainment».
Giuliano Banfi, president of FIGSP, the Italian minigolf federation, has long supported the idea that «the presence of the minigolf world championships in Italy would be a one-time occasion to give the sport visibility and make minigolf better known throughout the country. A promotional campaign which is young, cute and innovative is exactly what is needed».
