Attention all minigolf lovers and fans: the official 2007 Nations Cup balls are now ready. This ball is not only stylish but also proves to be a great all-around ball on both minigolf and miniature courses. Manufactured by the famous Austrian 3D company, a leader in this sector, the ball supports the chic Minigolf 2007 logo giving it both an edgy and classy look. However, it’s not all about appearance because this ball, which comes in both lacquered and un-lacquered versions, was made by professionals for professionals; hence it has the qualities which the serious
minigolf players look for in a ball. The smooth black ball with the logo written in hot-pink and white is 37,5 mm in size and weighs 41 grams with a bounce of 5,5 cm. It has a hardness of 58 shore and even when it is heated it doesn’t get too soft.
For those of you who plan to attend the Nations Cup in May at the courses of Relax Time in Canegrate (Milan), Finnish Pasi Aho, minigolf professional, offers some advice on which pitches this ball might generally prove to be duly adapted for «at minigolf surely for lane 9 and possibly lanes 4 and 16. While at miniature
it should be good on some plateaus, lightning (for straight shots), passages (for straight ace) and whichever one needs a harder, slow ball that follows the small inclinations of the lanes faithfully – explains Aho-. The un-lacquered version will surely find its use at miniature for some loopings and flat loopings. As for the courses at Canegrate, it just waits to be seen».
