Bicycle Paths
Biking for kilometres either in the countryside or along rivers and canals: in Altomilanese you can do both. The magnificent roads for discovering places of unforeseen beauty, with the paths and trails passing through parks and alongside riverbanks, represent one of the most frequent ways used to spend free time for getting in touch with nature that’s only a stone’s throw from city centres.

Some of the paths found in this territory include:
  • The bicycle path Alzaia canal Villoresi originating in the north and connecting Groane Park to Ticino Park crossing Roccolo Park and passing through Nerviano, Parabiago, Busto Garolfo and Arconate. Towards the Ticino the plan is to join the existing bicycle paths to make a more continuous course.

  • The bicycle path along the Naviglio Grande comes down from Nosate coasting along the canal and reaching Turbino, Robecchetto con Induco, Cuggiono and Bernate Ticino

  • Bicycle paths are also found in Altomilanese Park (the entrance of Legnano is in Via della Pace in the area of Mazzafame near the athletic field) and in Roccolo Park (Canegrate, Nerviano, Busto Garolfo, Parabiago and Casorezzo)
